This was the first collaboration between Steven Stapleton and David Tibet. The music is mostly very quiet and subdued. The second track, "The Grave and Beautiful Name of Sadness," is a soundtrack to Diana Rogerson's film Twisting the Black Threads of My Mental Marionettes.
