Sonic Groove and Schlagstrom Productions known for their highly successful Crossing The Parallel events at Maria Club, Berlin join forces once again to bring you a very special event entitled “Reverse Forward” festival on Saturday, January 10, 2009.

Where as “Crossing The Parallel” has been a series of events to cross the parallels of present day electronic music from the techno, ebm and rhythmic noise industrial scenes, the concept of “Reverse Forward” is to bring those artists who have pioneered the way for electronic music back to the center stage for old and new fans alike

On this very special night in Berlin, “Click Click” a legendary industrial music act from the UK will perform their classic sound in Berlin for the first time in well over a dozen years and for only the second time in Deutschland since then. Other acts on the festival which are equally as known and as important to the history and advancement of electronic body and industrial music are, “Dive” the solo project of vocalist Dirk Ivens of the legendary EBM and Minimal Synth acts The Klinik & Absolute Body Control. “Portion Control” a London based act who surfaced at the start of UK's industrial revolution of the early 80's and influenced many famous acts from Depeche Mode, Orbital to Skinny Puppy. “No More” the German post punk/no wave act from the early 80's whose legendary song “Suicide Commando” is still in vogue some 25 years later influencing and inspiring many international artist and djs in the electroclash scene.

After the bands finish, the dj's will continue on to mix music into the wee hours of the morning. They will be playing all those EBM/industrial/electronic music classics and obscurities that inspired and influenced millions over the last few decades. DJ's on the night are the internationally renowned dj/artist “Adam X” from NYC who now resides in Berlin and is co-organizer of Reverse Forward, “SUBK” a dj from Chicago who plays worldwide in the techno/electro scene and “Agent Provacateur” the resident dj of Berlin's long standing monthly rhythmic noise/industrial event Schlagstrom.
