Agent Side Grinder debut 7” (petit enfant 002)

As second 7” in the petit enfant series the debut of Swedish band Agent Side Grinder sees the light.

This band knows as one of the few today how to produce authentic minimal electronics. The sound of Agent Side Grinder is filled with references to the post-punk, new wave, minimal electronics and industrial tradition. So it is no surprise the band works in the footsteps of pioneers as Silver Apples, Suicide, Throbbing Gristle and Liaisons Dangereuses.

Already the band is the insider tip as most promising contemporary minimal electronics act.

People who have seent the band live at work on stage know why. No laptops and backing tapes or such things are used. All is done live with analogue synths, rhtyhm boxes and tape loops. This way of working is also used in the studio and this is evident on this 7”.

At this moment the band is recording their debut LP for Enfant Terrible and will appear for live concerts in The Netherlands and Belgium shortly.
