two new releases on Enfant Terrible:Hero Wouters & Hex m

Out soon on Enfant Terrible will be two new records. Enfant08 is by Dutch artists Hero Wouters. Next to that the compilation LP “Hoera! Een Hex voor thuis!” is released on the new Enfant Terrible imprint Hex Grammofoonplaten.

Hero Wouters is a Dutch artist who has been active since 1950. Through the years he has been involved in many (music) projects. His work in the field of electronic music ranges from synthpop to experimental music. Some people might know him from his collaborations with The Legendary Pink Dots and Edward Ka-Spel. Other people might know him from his contributions to the obscure Contactdisk vinyl series or his appearance on the legendary Dutch Ding-Dong tape label.

Featured on this LP is work by Hero Wouters from 1982, 1984, and 1986. Most of the material was written for a Dutch film (‘Een zaak van Leven en Dood’) and a theatre play (‘Laios’). The music has been (partly) released on cassette on Hero's own label Herophone. Now it is for the first time available on vinyl.

Since 2004 we organize the Hex nights at OCCII in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. At these nights the audience is being served all (sub)styles of new wave music from the past and the present... and more. The nights are known for their ever suprising live acts (and not only because of the fact that most of these bands have their live debut in The Netherlands at Hex) and the dj sets by connoisseurs dj M & Kramp.

On the LP are twelve bands that all performed live on stage at Hex. Ten out of the twelve tracks are exclusive recorded for this LP. What you get is what we do... it is all there... from apocalyptic disco to post-punk, from elektro to Neo Deutsche Welle and from minimal electronics to cabaret…
