Beatae memoriae (blessedly remembrance) is the new postcard set and second release from Wundenkuessen photography on Beverina and War Bild & Tonkunstschmiede. It's themed to the German Niederwald Denkmal, a big monument which was constructed in order to commemorate the foundation of the German Empire, after the end of Franco-Prussian War (in 1871). The images themselves seem to be heroic visions of war and peace in a world, filled with pain, suffering, victory and pride. Highlighting the three main statues of the monument, the postcards are designed in different colour scheme: black and white, sepia toning and a regular colour version. The backside features three selected quotations related to the front pictures.

"a wilde Zeit" includes all 7inches, many songs from the mLP "alpine Bann- und Segenssprüche" and several compilation tracks, as well as one unreleased song. this CD was originally released in a limited edition of 100 copies in wooden case, but due to endless requests from fans and distributers, we decided to release the album officially now, in a (partially) remastered and widely expanded version. the CD comes in a 6-side digipack with stunning artwork by M. CD: UR “Trieb†12 Euro
UR was born from the collaboration between Federico Esposito and Mauro Sciaccaluga, both hailing from the hardcore-punk scene and from bands like Heartside (F.E.), Never Was, Downright, Kafka, Stalker (M.S.). The two joined in 2003 to work on F.E.'s industrial solo-project (a.k.a. Den LXV) live set, later they decided to collaborate and improvise together to create a new entity. Andrea Ferraris joined the band in the early days of 2005, contributing to define further on the sonic identity of the combo. A.F. is well known for having played and recorded with different bands ranging from hardcore to indie-post rock to experimental music (Airchamber3, Deep End, Burning Defeat, Permanent Scar, Onefineday, Ultraviolet Make Me Sick, Permanent Scar, etc…). Ur music is mostly based on improvisation that usually starts with drones or samples (with no pre-definite structure), to which they superimpose layers of electro-acoustic noisescapes coming from objects, field recordings, analog and traditional instruments processed using a load of pedals and effects. The sound ends painting a solid, harsh and dramatic industrial lounge where archaic instincts and modern obsessions meet. To use the words of a sound engineer after one of their live sets: “…it all sounds like early Pink Floyd on acid...on muriatic acidâ€.

After searching for an old Folkstorm recording in his vaults, Nordvargr discovered more unreleased material than he was looking for: old recordings from 1997 and 1998, all previously unreleased !
Now, after more than 10 years, these old recordings see the the light (?) of day.
This is all harsh gritty oldschool Folkstorm (the one we like the more !), served up fresh and carefully remastered from the original analogue tapes.
Also included are the four tracks that was intended to be released as a spilt CD with LHD.

"Radiations and heat!... It was in 1989 and i got the idea to record a concept album about our old good Sun!
In a first time, subjective sounds & structures were created: pagan percussion & voice simulating a primal dance and invocation to the Sun.
In a second time some ring modulated electronic sounds and electroacoustic drones simulating the heat and ultraviolet ray was recorded.
All that has been assembled in order to give life to a mental movie, "an offering to the Sun"...
All this sounds very pretty but the Sun is often murderous.
Dryness, skin cancer... Everything on this earth has its dark side!
And the dark side of the Sun is the most dangerous thing on our planet!
So enter "The Sun" and let his music burn your skin!
When i first submited this material to OEC in 1990, Rodolfo was immediately switched to go for its release!
During this period OEC was just beginning and was releasing only small cassettes editions, but once the label grew up Rudy suggested me to release a CD, it was 1992 and "Battery hens Sabotage" was the very first CD ever on OEC !
More than 16 years later i'm still very proud of it!
And I'm proud to do this re-release (plus some unedited extra tracks) with my old friend of OEC.
